Olympic Pool Accessories, based in Montreal, Quebec, was founded in 1976 by entrepreneur Claude Marchand. The Company manufactures and markets in-ground and above-ground swimming pool cleaning equipment, accessories, parts/fittings and games/leisure accessories.  These products are sold to pool and spa retailers, builders, distributors and mass merchandisers in 23 countries around the world including Canada, the U. S. and Europe.

In early 1999, the Company was sold to Teledyne Laars and subsequently was combined with their Waterpik and Jandy Pool Products divisions.  Later that year, these three business units were spun off as a publicly traded company.  

OLYMPIC operated as Waterpik Technologies of Canada from 1999 until early 2006.  In March of this year, OLYMPIC was acquired by a new company formed by The Brantley Group, Inc. based in Atlanta, Georgia, USA and Canadian Buttons Limited with headquarters in the Montreal, Canada area.  The Brantley Group is a sales and marketing consulting company specializing in the development and execution of strategic business plans for companies with high growth expectations and companies in turnaround situations.  Canadian Buttons is a leading marketer of buttons and plastic hangers to the garment industry in North America and has significant expertise in injection molding and product sourcing in China.
